The Vessel par Kris Lockyear, on ipernity

Pentax Super A, Washi S film. I think this was shot using my K30/2.8 but I cannot be sure.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Excellent image - particularly as it's film, exposure is spot on and needed to be as there's less flexibility in PP

Thanks Lenny. I'd never used Washi-S before and it is extremely high contrast. Very "black and white" and not a lot in between. I was pleased this one came out so well. Most of the rest of the film is a bit of a write-off.

I don't hang around here so much now, having largely changed systems - but saw this and thought 'Brilliant'! And as Lenny says especially as it's film!
