The top ten!

The *ist is the last of the film bodies, and quite a sophisticated specification as well. We still have an MZ-3 and an *ist on the shelves, but their days are really numbered. The only thing that stops me selling them is that they are in perfect condition and the price I would get would be insulting....
Best regards, John

2: KX (these two may be reversed, but the MX is just slightly easier to carry and use)

10: MG (only bought it because it shares my initials, although to be fair it's an ME with some plastic bits and auto flash sync)

In all my time on this forum I think that's probably the first I've even seen mention of an *ist - how does it compare to the other film bodies and the *istD?
Other than that it was a very capable and feature rich camera. It's feature set is very similar to the MZ-6 film and *istD digital bodies. It has selectable focus points, wireless flash, P-TTL & TTL capable. All the normal exposure modes are available too.
A nice camera, just not for me. My MZ-6 has all the capabilities I need of a film camera, which is why I've kept it. It hasn't been anywhere near a roll of film for a very long time though.
