I know NOTHING about aircraft but the photos look great and the one taken with the 77mm is SWEET!! I am surprised at the good quality of the 80-320mm (especially on #1)that people sometimes grumble about at 320mm but I see you used it here at mid range. Are you happy with it Michael?

I am very pleased with the FA 80-320mm zoom. I try to limit my focal lengths with this lens to a range of 100-240mm because at 240mm and above, it gets really soft... but that's the purist in me.kcmadr wrote:

I will very soon be replacing my FA 80-320mm because I get spots in the images. Now, to be fair, these spots are hardly noticeable, but when I crank up the contrast to 92-98%, I can clearly see which area requires attention. I was hoping to get the DA* 60-250mm at year's end, but I may have to go for the DA 55-300mm if the cost is too high.
