I quite like the rather forbidding greyness that pervades everything but the ferry, though in reality Liverpool is usually a bit more colourful.
And that bridge thing in front of the Liver Building goes to the pontoon where lucky Scousers board the Isle of Man ferry for a taste of the high life.

Bob, I was standing on the carpark side of the Seacombe ferry terminal. Free carpark, and coffee and food in cafe if you feel like a snack.
