hello all very strange was just searching ebay and come across this did not no they done lenses

I believe it is for a Sigma camera the one in your ebay link, it says "for Sigma AF" at the bottom.

Yes Sigma, they make cameras as well and have their own mount. link

no i was just looking at how much this lens would be didnt see it was sigma mount to be very honest didnt no sigma made dslr bodies but hey i am new and major point was therange selling lenses STRANGE what next

Oh yes they make DSLR they even use a special sensor, the camera are even pretty good I believe.

The Sigma 170-500mm is now discontinued and replaced by the 150-500mm.
The Sigma 170-500mm also had a smaller brother the 135-400mm and that one is replaced by the smaller brother of the 150-500mm, the 120-400mm.

old -> new
170-500mm -> 150-500mm
135-400mm -> 120-400mm

hi emma,if you read peoples kit list on here, you will see that quite a lot have the big sigma's.Yes they have quite a range,but are large lenses. I am looking at a 120-400 as soon as i can afford it!! enjoy your camera

She's saying it is weird that "The Range" (an AV shop here in the UK) is selling lenses on eBay.
