Its very effective Alistair The technique works well with this subject - I can't see and significant distortions - perhaps a bit of barreling across the middle. I would try and even out the sky exposure a bit left to right using some sort of graduated filter effect.

Microsoft ICe is terrific but I think a pano head will sort any silliness in the stitiching.

You can really save yourself some groats doing pano's though

Im not so sure about the 10 20 anymore - edging towards the 12-24 but all these poor reviews are off putting
