I've been here since last July and still haven't worked out how to post pictures in the Forum.

Its quite easy, I upload the picture to my own web site (longest side no bigger than 800 pixels, mind) then click on the 'image' button below. Insert your picture's URL between the 'img' tags. So the URL for one of mine would be "http://www.penciloflight.com/mypicture.jpg" Other people use gallery sites and I'd imagine the procedure is the same.

David,
I believe you need to place your images on FLICKR or some other image hosting service on the internet. Then take the image URL info and paste it into the 'Add a comment' box on the appropriate topic in this forum. You will probably need to sandwich the image url info between the two HTML markers that appear when you click on the image button below the comment box, next to the smilies button........arrgghh....Ken you beat me to it. Your explanation flows better though....

As spidey says see the sticky on how to do it.
If you use Photobucket it even has an option (fourth one down under the thumbnail which includes the tags. Just click on that - it copies automatically and then you can paste it into the forum.
Even I, a total idiot when it comes to computers, can manage it .

Where do I get a photobucket, SRS or a local hardware store like Homebase?
Thanks for the advice though, I'll give it a try but I still think the Gallery is best.

We've have had a discussion on this before, but my feeling is that the gallery should be for photos you are really happy with, and ones you want help with or more constructive criticism of should be posted in here in the forum
I don't have any photos in the gallery and I post very few here, for that matter. I don't feel the need.

First forays with the K20D. I've posted in the gallery as couldn't quite summon the brainpower to work out posting in threads. Suggestions welcome!
