Alas, I think if it wasn't thought of before, it's certainly been given away now.

Thanks for all the input guys, it's all very interesting.
It's not a novel idea but a good idea for a novel lol.

A US University recently proved it was possible to take remote control of a modern cars essential functions via bluetooth. Initially it was thought you had to plant malicious code via the cars computer interface, such as during a service but they managed to plant the code using a fully functional music cd.

With that in mind I would guess that planting an incriminating image, or file, onto a wifi enabled camera is probably well within the realms of possibility.

Sometimes I'm serious and sometimes not, but I consider sarcasm an artform. Which is it today?

It all goes to show that those wanting more and more connectivity GPS/WiFi etc (even in cameras), forget the KISS principle – Keep It Simple Stupid –
It’s bad enough as it is – Example – The Dartford Tunnel/Bridge will soon become free flow with no Toll Gates, excuse to speed up traffic – except, like the London Congestion Charge , you will have to pre-pay and the whole thing will be checked by a Number Plate Recognition system. Someone will know where you have been.
And don’t come up with the ‘If you have nothing to hide argument’ PLEASE.
