The Gauntlet

Mrs Ted bought me an experience day at a local bird of prey centre. What a fantastic day. I took my camera along, in case I got chance to use it. Unfortunately, I only had a 28 to 80mm lens but could have done with my longer lens.
Here are a few of my favourites.
C&C welcome.

And I couldn't resist this little bundle of fun. Hard to believe that in a few weeks' time this will be a hardened killer!

No 3 is sharp and has good contrast, and there's energy in the birds movement. Nos 1 & 2 might be improved with some contrast boost and a little sharpening just on the subjects.

I love no.3 Looks like the inspiration for the Stargate Death Gliders haha. Not often you see an eagle putting effort into flight.

Sometimes I'm serious and sometimes not, but I consider sarcasm an artform. Which is it today?

I see what you mean. I'll have a play with the contrast and sharpening.

Number 4 is a cracker - almost a "stand-off" between man and bird... well done!
