I can only speak for myself, but this assertion is incorrect. The site owners put no pressures whatsoever on the Moderator Team.

Speaking as a subscriber though I'm quite happy to get something extra for my money, just as I'm happy to pay to be an e2 member of EPZ and be able to post larger images.

Unfortunately in the case of the PU Gallery I havent had time to take advantage of the facility, so it's made no practical difference.

I didn't say he/they had put any overt pressure on the mods; but you have closed more threads recently than normal. The shadow of the boss often makes people alter their behaviour a little, even unconsciously, and that is all I was suggesting.

Well I'm glad to be able to correct the suggestion.

A couple of threads have been closed as, for a short while, there was a perceptible increase in the number of aggressive or argumentative posts/threads. When these went too far they were closed and it was as simple as that.

I think to make it fair it should be people with 203 or more posts that are allowed more than one entry.

I've also been occasionally moaning about this John Riley? Any news on a decision one way or the other? Either everyone gets 1 a day or everyone gets 3 a day?

There's probably no need for a decision, as everyone passes the renewal date for their subscriptions will they cease to be subscribers? When that happens will they only be able to post one image per day?

The terms were that subscribers could post more than one image per day, and that's how it's set up. I'm not sure where you got the idea that they could post three per day.

Am I missing something here, I was under the impression that if you subscribed then you got your copy of the magazine plus any other discounts. As the magazine is no longer available does this mean I still have to pay a subscription to remain a member and to have my images put into the gallery or to benefit from any offers or discounts.
My subscription was paid up to Jan this year.

Can't find it so I don't know if my subscription is linked.

No Richard, there's no longer any subsciption.

What is being referred to here is that there's a limit of 1 image per day when posting in the Gallery. Magazine subscibers don't have a limit and this is still the case, even though there is no magazine any more.

Of course there's no limit to anyone in the Your Photos section of the forum, but that's not the issue here.

Thanks John for making things clear.

I think it should be made clear that this 3 year old thread was resurrected by a spammer, and the reply someone made to that spam, both postings having been removed.

It's a pity there isn't a message generated when a post is removed - along the lines of this post was removed by the moderator so it is clear something has been deleted.

It would be helpful if there were no replies or comments to spam messages as they cause confusion and add to the work when cleaning up the thread.

True John. I didn't respond for just that reason - but it happens, and a message explaining why such an old thread has been revived would perhaps help it die a death again.

Thanks Gwyn, time permitting we'll see what we can do.
