My guess is a camel - looks like the eye is quite well shaded from strong overhead sunlight...

Odds on it'll turn out to be a donkey now...

Clone that odd bright thing above his eyes then it'll be perfect. I find horses a bit unnerving and creepy and this is too! (That's a compliment!)

Don't camels have long pupils rather than round ones? They also have seriously long lashes.

You are right Andrew, the bright object is a thick hair, but I did not think it would be very easy to clone out, particularly as I have a bottle of Italian red in front of me and Italy's game against Paraquay on in the background!
