I have now revised the "Rules and Guidance" for the weekly competitions.
If anyone has any problems with sorting out the new system, just ask.

Hello Malo, I was aware of the options to delete, I was giving John an example of WHY we would want to delete, because he was asking under what conditions we would would be worried about copyright.....

If you have to retract your picture from this site because of the reason you mentioned, you have 2 options AFAICT. When posted in the gallery (main gallery or competition) you can delete, with no time limit. When posted in a normal thread by hot linking, you can always kill it by deleting/or replacing it on the hosting site.

It seems that the new style have made the competition more popular. A lot of "new names" have entered the competition last week. Very good IMO.
