Tethering my K10d

I've just bought the lead to connect my K10 directly to my PC mostly so that I don't have to keep taking my SD card out whilst fine tuning my AF.

Then it dawned on me...I don't know if I need any software, so, the question is: do I and, if so, what is it?

Next question I suppose is: with it tethered, can I shoot and immediately see the image on PC screen, or do I need to look for it? Never used it this way before.
Getting there! Thanks to you guys

Pktether is the software you're looking for, it'll do all of the things you're looking for.

The K10D came with it's own tethering program, it's call Pentax Remote Assistant and should be on your K10D software disc or see HERE

Supported cameras details HERE
Cheers
Brian.
LBA is good for you, a Lens a day helps you work, rest and play.

I have the software with my K20D. I'm sure I could image the disk.

My camera was "previously loved" so I don't have the disk.

Thanks for the offer John, I might take you up on that, but I'll have a look at PKtether first
