Nice images. I have some old film Pentaxes I use occasionally with modern film. Too many actually, I lusted after the Spotmatic F but by the time I could afford one it had become the Pentax KM, almost identical camera but with K mount!

Since discovering EBay I have acquired a Spotmatic F, ES, K2, K2DMD, MX, LX, MV Me Supers..and more, far too many so it will be time to sell some soon!
I think my favourite is the MX, but the ES has "something"....Cameras 40 years old and still going strong!! Will today's digitals last as long?

Basically I have sought out and bought all the cameras I wish I could have afforded at the time. I lost interest when the plastic bodies came in and missed the autofocus film cameras completely, surviving a long time with an Olympus XA, then an old Yashica FR...( Very "Pentax like" the Yashicas!)

So far I have had films professionally processed and scanned, but still have B+W developing kit, so perhaps........time is an issue!

Hello Peter,

Glad to see you are still shooting, me too. I remember you from back in the 70s/80s when I was a staff photographer on The Brentwood Gazette and you had your brown Ford Capri, a super car

Hi Stewart : well long time no see !! Now NO MORE WORK given out to Freelancers by the Gazette -- the Staff Photographers have to do it all and are run off their feet ---- even Chief Photographer Mike Rose was made redundant and lost his job together with long time Reporter Pete ( What's 'is Name -- ) -- I did over 90,000 miles on that Capri rushing around on Press Jobs -- all over Billericay as well as Brentwood ! Then I got a Diesel Ford Escort then Renault Scenic and finally a Toyota Corolla. I still do 'Darkroom Work' and get lots of camera gear GIVEN to me -- saved lots form the council DUMP !!
