Fine shots there Alan the Farnes are a great place for birds in my sea kayaking days we used to go there whenever we got the chance must have been 50 or 60 times and you can get real close to the seals also seen dolphins and orca whales.I feel a competition subject looming if it has not been done.

That's interesting to know and is why they have such great depth.
It's rare for me locally to get that close to any BIF 300mm is
usually still a bit short.

Wow,
I particularly like both pictures 8 and 9! . Nicely exposed and perfectly sharp . I have to say that the birds in flight are really well composed, surprising what shapes that nature can give us!!
