Look here for advice on Pentax brand lenses:

The SMCP-F 70-210 f4-5.6 is generally considered pretty good for a slowish zoom. The fast ones cost much more, and if price is a factor, they should be ignored.
If you can do without autofocus and shutter-priority, the SMCP-M 70-150 f4 is very good and very common. They go for around £30-£40.

I have a MZ-7 with a pentax 28-80mm AF lens. I am in a quest for a telezoom and I've seen several Sigma, Cosina, Tamron and Pentax options at eBay. Since I'm bying for amateur use, has anyone any suggestions for a reliable and "relatively bright" telezoom AF between 80-200mm and 100-300mm :
Which is the most important technical feature that I should pay attention to in order to decide (apart from the cost, that is)?
I really need some advice and I thank you in advance. Bye !
