TeleConverter Question

Hi Diane,
There should be no problems with it as it is standard M42 fit. However, the soligor convertors were not known for their high quality! If you need to use one regularly, I would try to get a Tamron or similiar quality 7 element one. If you are hand holding the lens try to use at least 1/500 sec to prevent camera shake. This will probably need a fast film or good light.

Kim

Kim,
I thought that may be the case about the quality. Thank you for the advise.
Cheers,
Diane

I wonder if anyone on this forum knows whether a Pentax M42 Soligor 2X Auto TeleConverter (Not AF) is suitable for a Pentax SP1000 with a 200mm prime lens?
Your help would be much appreciated.
Diane
