Anyone know 'top of the head' if the Samsung 8Gb SDHC Class 6 ones on Mike's link should work OK in a k-x ? I have just bought Glovers k-x and need a card but not yet had time to read the manuals etc. to check compatability

Any SDHC card should be OK in a K-x. 4GB or 8GB is big enough
for photos. Movies need 8GB or larger. Class 6 minimum.

I would avoid Transcend due to reported poor performance.

Thanks Algi - I usually play safe and stick with Sandisk whose cards have always behanved perfectly for us, but this does look a good price.

PNY seem OK I've got a 4GB one Class 4 or 6 (not got it to hand)
and it's actually faster than a Transcend Class 10

Glover - thanks I went for Amazon not only re stock but also as I have had problems with Play over returns (even when they sent me the wrong item) whereas Amazon are always exemplary.

I have the day off today so will be getting to know the k-x a little - then it is going into storage until my birthday at the start of March. At least that's the plan

Why do I never just order anything? Showing as 4-5 days for stock now which usually means on play they're not going to be back in at that price.

I'm using PNY 4GB class 4 cards in my P70 - they were actually originally bought for the Kodak a few months before its demise but I found it couldn't take SDHC - so they are now kept for the Optio

The K-x now has been kept on Lexar Professional class10, 133 speed and it seems happy with these - I've got 2 empty cards [ never been used yet ] so my stock is OK. I keep my eyes open for a bargain - and tend to snap up 2 cards when I see some at what I reckon is a good price.
