Tamron 90mm first time out

I've been wanting a macro/portrait lens of this type for a while and when the chance of one came up in this forum, it seemed too good to miss. I'll admit to knowing next to nothing about macro/portraiture/flash (amongst lots of other things!), so any pointers, particularly regarding technique, are welcome. I know there are mistakes re exposure, aperture, ISO which I will sort out as I get to understand the lens, but I'm still amazed at how well some of these shots have turned out. Once I've worked out how to use the lens properly, I think it could be really good. These are all RAW images, resized to jpegs with no other processing of any kind, taken with the K-3 and the Tamron SP AF 90mm F/2.8.

Thanks for looking!

Pretty neat without any extra PP! That tamron lens is a beauty!
