Hi folks looking for a little advice on a Tamron 70-300 I've recently bought, I'm able to take shots with it no problem but the top display on my K20 never shows an aperture value and when I put it into Aperture Priority it won't let me adjust the aperture just shows a line, as I said its taking shots, I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the camera as my other lenses are working fine but just a bit puzzled as to what might be wrong?

Did you rotate the aperture ring on the lens to the A position?

Doh! I never thought to check the aperture ring! I must have moved it when I took the lens off before! Thanks folks!

Been there done that. At least you won't forget next time!

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
