tamron 300mm 2.8 60b

hi all just bought a tamron 300mm 2.8 lens when the 1.4 and 2x converters are on theres a bit of movement when fitted on tha camera is this normal and can i use other converters its going on a gx10.anybody got any ideas.

An ideal converter for it will be the Pentax 1.7x as it will give you semi AF with good quality. They cost a bit but its an ideal matchup I would have thought.

I use one on my Pentax A* 300mm f2.8 with excellent results.

Steve, if this is an Adaptall lens, I would check that the lens is mounted properly. Sometimes they Adaptall mounts can be temperamental. You will notice incosistent exposure if the lens is not properly mounted on the converter or the lens mount.

hi its the adaptall fitting its the 60b model the fittng to the camera is perfect the movement is in the converter theres a slight bit of rotation its locked on ok ,on the converter theres little slots where the little black tabs rotate and fit in is that correct .
