Taksim Square Istanbul, (post protest)

Due to the riot in turkey I found a very good deal to go to turkey. £155 for return flight to Istanbul from London and 2 nights hotel. I wanted to photograph the protest but when I got there is was a bit too late but still here is a few shots from taksim sqaure and want to share with you guys here.


Most of the night time shots are taken at ISO 3200 so there are a bit of noise visble.

When I got to the square there were only around 50 people gathering around to remember the death of the protestors during the riot last week.

#13 Police can be found everywhere on the sqaure and they are sealed every single entrance to Gezi park. This was once the main entrance from taksim square to the park.

Interesting set of photos, thanks for posting

members on here worry far too much about 'noise' -- these photos would be acceptable for Magazines such as 'Paris Match' and if it was in Essex 'Essex Life' -- !! Remember HPS film ? that had 'noise' alright but lots of Press Photos were taken on it !
