Hallo! Was looking for a good tabletop tripod, and saw this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCxKZ7RjkXk

Anyone know what that is? Also, if you have a good recommendation for a small tabletop tripod, I'd much appreciate it!

(did a search in the forums but had too many results and after reading several pages opted to post the topic)

Gorillapod zoom would be good, multi adjustable and will support the weight of k5 and lens
odd lens or 2

Looks like a copy of the Polaroid Tripod that came out in
the mid-seventies.

Photographers have struggled along without them ever since

That was a hell of a messy setup he had. An Eye-Fi and
laptop is much easier

It looks like Pentax had a badged version of this tripod as
well see circa page 195 of the K-5 manual for a picure of
one with a flashgun mounted on it.

I use mostly Novoflex ones now, but have a few of the
Polaroids that I used to use for flash as well as camera
supports. They fold flat like a gun Mostly metal
apart from the knobs and camera connection which are
plastic.

If you want one for about £25 let me know.

This is the tripod...

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I got a similar, obviously not as good, one from the pound shop
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

I've r3ecently bought a little manfrotto job. Works a treat, but not for long zooms
