re *ist 35mm & AF360FGZ does any one know what the sync voltage is?. I would like to get some modelling lights & have been told to check that the sync voltage is correct as I could damage the camera. I can’t find this information in either of the specification books. I guess this would be the same for both *ist & istD. :
2nd question i would like to make a adjustable off camera mount (bit like the Metz 70MZ-5 Flashgun) for the flash (AF350FGZ) and still keep the AF spotbeam emitter of the flash, but don’t want the on camera flash to pop up and activate, I know I will need to use the leads etc is this possible and will the flash keep all the functions it has when mounted directly on top of the camera. sorry for the double questions and thank you in advance. oh p.s I hope soon to go to the digital ist D the idea long ago was that every thing I buy for this camera will go to the ist D as well, well that’s the plan anyway
