Swap: Working ist DS for your broken one + cash

Bit of a mental one here..

I've got an ist DS that's in full working condition and 9k shutter count. It's a fantastic camera with some signs of use.

I bought it in 2020 as 'untested' but I found it was working nicely. These come with a couple of white solenoids so I would have happily taken it apart to harvest those... if it was actually dead.

So here's the deal. Camera only for £60 or swap this for your dead one (or other 'white solenoid' bodies) + £30 my way.

What do we think?

I applaud not taking apart a working camera for parts and instead looking out for one which is already dead. Same thing we do with people after all

I gave away two bodies last year that I thought had aperture block failure (and therefore not white solenoid?).

It's getting to the point where I'm hoping a spares/repair camera turns up properly crocked and end up disappointed when it doesn't!

Reminds me of a Monty Python sketch...
