Quite apart from the composition and the timing and just seeing that shot, you just keep finding the light don't you?

Thanks guys for your words of praise!

This is one of the few I was very keen to see on a proper monitor rather than the small(ish) laptop running only Picasa. I did quite a few shots of this guy but mostly from his other (i.e. left) side. This one was the most dramatic shot, though (and in many shots his long (fishing:wink rod hadn't made it in the frame uncut).
If only I had made my way through all the Kaua'i pictures, yet, I could work on the Gran Canaria ones a bit more...
