Sunset Rose Shot
Back to the photo - I really like it. The only critism I have is the foliage in the background bottom right. I wonder whether the shot would be improved with a completely dark background? Just a thought.

I'll have to play with removing the leaves.
Nice and tight so that the green leaf goes as well. Then you are left with that lovely red.
The black, to me, spoils you shot as it does nothing for it

Beautiful composition from the rose and superb from the photographer, I feel your composition with the leaves intact adds a certain quality to your image.
Actually agree with Rees, the top shot looks better with the green. I was referring to the 2nd altered shot. There is to much black in that. The 1st image looks much better.
