Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire coast, mid-October, the first of a number of dramatic skies we were up in time to see! K-1 and DFA 28-105. Hope you like these!

Lovely set John - well exposed/processed, it's difficult to avoid burnt out areas of sky when you have this range of highlights and shadows, you've managed it and kept a natural look to a lovely sunrise - good shooting

I really like the colours here (except No 4 which needs a tweak of tint towards purple), soft and subtle without overdosing on orange and red!

The big sky and clouds in the last one are spectacular.

Agree with the feedback so far, these are very good - No 5 stands out for me (No 3 a close second) as I really like the focal point of the orange bit of the fiery sky.
All the gear with no idea

Indeed. And I like the subtleness of the set as a whole.

Thanks, all, for your comments. The lack of foreground interest seemed less and less important as the sky developed. The whole show was over in about half an hour or so.
