A local farm to me has a sunflower field with an honesty box for 2 charities. We picked a few and left our money owed plus more in the box and I snapped these. Having the kids plus my friends daughter meant I couldn't wait till sunset which was 2 hours and the sun was so bright in the sky. As I mainly use square filters I have no hoods for the Irix or D FA 24-70mm but luckily I do for the 60-250mm. All shot with the K1

They do have lots to say, those sunflowers. The group portraits speak best for me, especially the last, where they converse with the clouds.

Nice images. Number 2 works for me. I must get my 60-250 out and use it more. Your shots remind me of the quality of the lens (and the photographer!).

Nice reminder of Summer Gareth - no.2 stands out for me

The difference in OOF "look" between 1 and 2 is quite marked, especially considering they are both at max aperture - no.2 is so smooth and no.1 has the harsh highlights
