All are nice images, Shaun. Of the first two I would choose the 2nd for the closer interest in the main boat, and of the last three I like the 1st for the colours and patterns in the dried mud.

I really like the last one - but I'd take out the other photographer from it if it were mine.

Very nice set Shaun, 4th one is my pick, I feel it's the best balanced and the mud channel works nicely as a lead in to the main subject, the boat obviously

No. 4 is fantastic Shaun. No. 3 is perhaps OTT with the foreground interest - maybe it'd make an amazing abstract shot with those cracks and the channel?

Forgot to mention that I think the sky colour looks a bit weird in the last shot, are they all HDR or just the first two & last.. 3 & 4 do seem to have a different look to them

The last three i used a new technique that i have worked out using some new filters and shooting right into the sun you can have a great look as well.

You should have a play around with filters mate they work wonders some times and its a lot of fun

I did some shots to day with David storm and used a new why of using filters with flash and the results are great.

Oh and only the top are HDR
