Had a stroll in the lovely spring sunshine, took the recently acquired Pentax 55-300mm out on the k5. Having read varous tips on using this lens, to obtain maximum sharpness I used the TAV mode on K5 Set to F8 and between 250th and 350th of a second,to try and produce the sharpest shots. Occasional cloud sent the ISO upto around 1000 but ovarall am pleased with the results, here's 3 shot's.

I like all three of them ! #1 has almost a HDR feel to whilst the vignette on #2 works very well. Very nice reflection in #3. Good job all round.

Nice little set Stephen - particularly like No 3
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Nice set Snappy. Number doesn't really do it for me, but I like 2 and 3, especially 3. I like the layers of colour in that one.

Thank's guy's, would like to revisit the number 3 location. I think with the foliage on the bush would make for a better shot, colour wise.
