It's a mistake! I pointed it out to my Sigma rep and he laughed - I would love to see image stabilisation working twice...!

Glad to have that confirmed (although of course it would have been nice to have the option for *ist bodies). I had assumed it was the same mistake as has been common on HSM lenses for quite some time. Hopefully the HSM claims will soon cease to be a mistake, but we shall see.

I thought that OS was Sigmas image stabilisation. What the hell is an IS lens doing coming to Pentax? It will really screw up the in body IS if it is actually released...
