What are you planning on using the shot for :
The alterations you suggested should look great.
I think i would have had the toothbrush standing up in the cup It would look more natural i feel.
You could also add a set of dentures into the cup as well

yeah, toothbrush looks contrived on top of the cup.
I'd leave the flowers as they are or maybe accentuate the pink. Blue flowers would be lost.
also the soap on the glass pebbles would be really messy. I've seen glass pebbles in loads of bathrooms. but never with soap.

I agree on the toothbrush and the flowers. Also I don't like the grey horizontal line - are you planning on cloning that out?

I plan on adding it to my commercial portfolio., maybe a promo tearsheet.
If I can take a few $1.00 items from a bargian store, and make them look good...
The toothbrush will have a dollop of toothpaste on it (think aquafresh), so it will look better where it is.
the pebbles, I'm iffy on...thanks for the feedback...
the only photoshop work I plan for this peice is to remove the brand names off the soap and toothbrush.
everything else is as shot.
I may scrim the light on the grey line (it's the backsplash). to tone it down a notch...

Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Maybe use a Polarizer. IMHO you should get rid of the downward reflections.
And I second all the suggestions above.
Martin.

too tired to finish up tonite, I plan on turning the flowers blue, adding some bubbles on the soap, and some water spill on the countertop...but open to comments......or suggestions...
