subscribe to Pentax User back in the seventies..... I didn't
realize that there were still people other than me using
Pentax
I started with a couple of Black Spotmatics and various lenses
including the very expensive 70-210 (I think) Zoom that would
have cost thousands in today's Monopoly money. Changed to a K2
when that came out then MX, ME Super, MEF, SuperA, SFX, SFXn,
Z1, Z1P, *istDS, K10D plus countless lenses..... to show how
sad I am I still have all those except the K2 which I sold
intending to buy a New K2DMD but never did.... probably one
of the best Cameras Pentax ever made. I never bothered with
the LX.... the SuperA seemed a much more advanced camera....
I've still got two of them?
Took a lot of stick in the late seventies for still using
Pentax when no one else was?.... so thinking I might be
missing something bought an OM1 and OM2 and a Canon AE1?
Never liked the Canon it felt like a Zenith. The OM
eyepieces/screens were too close to my eye to see the full
screen although I liked the 50mm f/1.4 lens until the
50mm 'A' series f/1.7 came out and that blew everything
else away, so I sold the OM's.
