Stars, Trails and Fire Sky

A few nights ago I went out with a Cokin 6 point star filter, Clearsky LPF, my K3 and Sigma 50mm Macro....

MY idea was to create Stars and Trails along a road jsut outside Buxton, where I live!

These are the results....







And last night I went out on a clear night to do some Dep Sky stuff, as well as the Milkyway way iamge i put up earlier. I also had a tragic view....

The moors behind the Cat and Fidle pub near me were on fire.... and from the field I shoot my deep sky stuff from I had a sad view of this tragedy. This is the image i took of it.

The first one is superb and you'll be able to look back on that 3rd shot in the future and say "remember that day when the moors were on fire!" - sadly it probably won't be the last shot of its kind though - but apart from that it's an excellent image

The third shot is excellent IMHO.
Had you not mentioned fire, I would probably not have seen it in the photo
