Quite like these...especially the last two with the darker sky.

The last one for me, please. In particular, I like the way that the starscape transitions into the foliage of the tree at the right hand side - at first glance I thought you'd captured the clouds of interstellar dust towards the galactic centre . And the foreground in the other two is too bright for my taste.

Thank you guys
Steve... my intention is to capture the galactic core. Just need to learn how to do it correctly!!

Stars look sharp but with no trails
Always do a faster exposure at a higher ISO to get a sharp foreground and then blend together

The videos I have been watching and the book I bought about the subject (Adam Woodworth - Night Sky Photography) say to go long on foreground with low ISO and high ISO and faster shutter speed on the stars. So when you stack the stars you get less noise....
It was windy as hell when I was playing.... Next calm night I will be out playing!

This afternoon I spent learning to use a star stacker. These images are from my vertical learning curve...
First one was all in Photoshop and the other two used a starstacker then blended in Photoshop. They were then post processed in Lightroom...
I am kind of getting there...
