Taken today first one I did in B&W because I was struggling to correct the colour cast from stacked ND Grads

I then had another go at a colour version, and this was the best I could get

Me too - it's very effective.. I'm not sure the colours are convincing on the other version.

I wish you'd stop showing such great Q images... it's foul temptation

#1 looks the best #2 looks to "artificial" and #3 the moon and moonlight don't look quite right to me.

Thanks guys. Tried again, with a similar image but maybe I'm flogging a dead horse on this occasion. What do you think??????

No, I think that's great - fantastic light on the posts and much much more realistic colours. If at first etc etc

Thanks Tim. Was losing the plot with these. Couldn't see the wood for the trees.

Thanks for feedback Geordie - much appreciated. Nice moody sky you have there

I've got some horrendous pics of Blyth lighthouse from last week. Was trying to get the waves crashing over it. Instead all I got was a flat grey. If it wasn't for the light you wouldn't know it was there

Yes Alan I looked at it and decided a force six was not the time to be on the west pier, much better to be hiding behind the sea wall at the start of the causeway at St Mary's in the howling wind and the rain and salt spray with the K-r and the sigma wrapped in a lidl's carrier bag.It was blinking freezing
