Bad to hear it developed a fault but great that it has been sorted quickly despite being a second hand purchase. Was good you had the original receipt with the lens.

I was given the original receipt as it was still under warranty.
The lens developed a focusing issue so I contacted SRS and they stated they would honour the warranty as we are both members.
The lens was returned yesterday with a lengthy repair list, after less than three weeks, so I am very grateful for the excellent service from SRS.
