Some great pricing on the Black Friday bodies...very pleased to see the K-70 at such a good price as it is now the 'entry' body and Pentax need this to sell to increase its customer base.

Lenses...am not very impressed tbh. Compared to last years prices and even pricing earlier this year on special offer...not very compelling, with the odd exception. All that they have done is bring prices down to near the old RRP before they massively hiked the RRP earlier this year.

Yes - these are the BF prices from Friday 29th to 11.59pm on Monday 2nd December.

The standard Pentax offer will then start on the 3rd, but this is not as good as our BF offering and is on less lenses.

Pricing is still a substantial saving on current selling prices. I've been told that there may well be price increases soon due to poor currency conversion at the moment so it is a good time to buy.

the HD PENTAX-D FA* 50mm F1.4 SDM AW is a hell of a price ...... I'm tempted and I don't even like 50mm as a FL on FF.........#GAS

I can't recommend this lens or SRS highly enough - I bought mine from them at launch (it was a lot dearer then ) - their service was as impeccable as always and the lens is a dream to use producing beautiful, sharp images I use it for portraits/family shots regularly, so much so that my collection of 85mm lenses rarely get a look in.

Hello Chris,

Thank you for keeping us updated. I visited your website ytd but did not see any BF advertising yet.
I was wondering whether you would include accessories such as batteries and grips in BF offering?

Thank you

The HD 35mm f/2 is very tempting. Does anyone know if the build quality of the new version has improved? The only FA lens I have is the 50/1.7 and while build quality is decent enough I think it could be better.

It's basically the same construction as an FA series lens. Comparing mine to my FA28 the body and aperture ring are the same. However the focusing ring is 50% wider and studded rubber. This improves the manual focussing. It feels slightly more damped than the one on the FA28. The barrel is firm and does not wobble.
