SRS

Hi Guys

I have been trying to work out whether we can order online from SRS and get the free postage offer but can't find a way of doing it. Anybody know whether we can or is it phone orders only?

when you complete the order there is a box you can put in something like "pentaxuser.co.uk username firtzthedog".

They process it manually (you aren't actually charged until dispatch), so sometimes miss it out, but you can send Chris a PM on here if there is a problem.

Or use the phone, which works as well...

Recently (I think because of the new Verified by Visa/Mastercard SecureCode requirements) they tend to charge the full amount and then refund the postage charge. So still free postage, but potentially an issue if the item price is close to the single-transaction limit on the card you're using.

Ok - thanks Guys - I have ordered (it was the Sigma 50-150mm F2.8 EX DC HSM II I wanted at that fantastic price!)

Have paid by Visa, added forum name in the notes box and pm'd Chris - will see what happens. It's still a great price even if I end up paying the postage

My 50-150 arrived earlier this week, and had no problem with the free postage so I'm sure it'll be fine. And if not, I'm confident SRS will sort it out for you because they're that kind of shop!

Enjoy it when it arrives - I'm very impressed so far but need to use it in anger yet.

I also bought the 50-150 this week from SRS but got it in store as I live not far from Watford (dangerous) I hadn't been in for a while but for those who haven't visited recently they've extended the shop floor by taking the space next door and it's a great layout now, with far more on display. I can see why they're having an open day on Oct 9th. Always was a superb shop for Pentax users, now even better.

Weather forecast not looking good this weekend but can't wait to try out the 50-150 out properly. Hoping for a break in the rain and a wander saturday morning for some photos(then I'll settle in for the Ryder Cup)
