DA 55-300, Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh, Today. C&C Welcome!

Took a lot of boring flower shots too but they were just not up to the standards of PentaxExpert so I didn't bother to post them.

3 & 6 for me mark, i find the background a bit distracting in 4, lovely set though. have you tried a mono conversion on either of these?

Thanks for all the comments. My personal favourite is number 6. I agree the background is a bit distracting in no. 4.

Yup. I thought no. 5 was had a lot of character to it. Unfortunately the colours came out very dull and flat, presumably due to the angle with the light being from behind-ish. I boosted the saturation as much as I could get away with without making it look unnatural, but the colours are still dull compared to the other shots. Ah well, can't have everything!

I tend to find myself when photographing squirrels that they photograph better on grass rather than soil as they stand out better and you don't was a brown muddy looking image

Good tip! The colours of the squirrels do tend to merge into the backgrounds a bit with the shots taken against soil.
