You just killed it. Why do you feel the need to alter somebody else's work?
You assume you know better when you do this. Could you have just suggested a square crop and let the photographer decide?

Can someone please tell me the name of the last flower?
No idea, but I like it! I'd like it even more if you 1:1 square cropped it:The opening flower looks nice, I like the contrast with the stamen and the petals

Killed it? Really! For who? Me or you? 'Why do you feel the need to alter somebody else's work?' Well I wouldn't actually call it altering but I just thought it would look better in a 1:1 format so just amended it and posted it up. The OP did mention me in his opening post and asked if anyone liked them so thought maybe I could post up an alternative. All my images I do not care if people download, play and then reupload via the PU image uploader if they feel the image could be improved. I thought this was a community??
'You assume you know better when you do this' Really? I think you'll find you assumed this, I only said I'd like it more if it was cropped. I did not say that it was better so get your facts right please before throwing accusations.
Also, I do find your post a little trolling
Have a nice day now[/quote]

Glowingblue: I do see where you are coming from but it's OK, I have no problems if Gareth has amended a copy of my image.
Gareth: I do appreciate your idea.
Stay happy guys.
Cheers.

Thanks for that - appreciated. I have had a few people greet me like that but more commonly it's 'Salaam' since I am a Muslim But nothing to worry - don't start apologising because I don't take any offence at all.Namaste

Below are some shots of flowers I took yesterday. They are not as good as Gareth's but I hope you do like them.
