...in our car-park. The blossoms are finally starting to bloom - a couple of weeks after everyone else's. Our trees are 30 years old and a bit tired!

Ornamental plum.

Ornamental cherry.

And even a few crocuses.

K10D and Da 55-200 ED.

I prefer 'unconventional'.
But I'm willing to compromise and accept 'eccentric'.

It isn't spring, it's just a very naughty winter!

The flowers are very nice, though.

Very naughty - we have a rose in bloom! No photo as I only have one on my phone. Not bothering with one with the Pentax, even if I can find it as it and my computer are all packed up while we redecorate my room.
Daffodils are nearly in bloom as well.

Thanks for your comments.

There's something about those old CCD sensors that just seems to work for pastel colours - those pink blossoms are a pig to get right with my modern (CMOS) gear. Mind you, I have a Foveon Sigma SD10, I wonder...

You get the same results from an *istD too. Personally I like the ornamental plum/ winter cherry because it stands out so against the huge trunk behind it.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
