Here's another without distractions, I was going to clone the guy out but it's the IQ of the lens I'm after and didn't want to mess with it.

IQ looks great to me! What is it that you don't like about the lens?

Thanks Tim, it is when I take photos at 10mm the photo is stretched at the edges, however having taken these today i think I might keep it now because i don't think I could get much better, I have a group photo on tomorrow with about 30 people depending how it turns out I will decide then if I am going to sell it,
thanks,
Jack.

Hmm I don't know if I would make that decision based on the group photo. I find the 10-20 is great for dramatic wide angles, but not so great for people shots. The people at the edges will look really fat! My wife has already vociferously communicated her displeasure about being near the edge of frame whenever I use the 10-20!

Tim's right the 10-20 is rotten for group photos and does distort at the edges at 10mm. I'm not sure what else you'd expect of such an extreme wide angle?

I love the 10-20 but it's horses for courses.

Thanks guys, I know what you mean, I will keep it at 18-20mm for the group shot and see how it goes, that's why I was thinking about selling and going for the Pentax 12-24,
Jack.

Stick with the Sigma 10-20 Jack. Its a great lens as your shots show here. The point about group shots of people is a valid argument though.

Well guys you were correct about group photos with this lens, rubbish I would say but managed it at 20mm, 31 people.
But I had a disaster, I tripped on the tripod over it went, the camera is OK but the hot shew on the flash is wrecked it broke off the the camera so now I need some pretty strong epoxy to fix it, any ideas on which epoxy to use,

Ow Jack! Can't help you, I'm afraid, but what awful thing to happen! Good thing you're still in one piece though and the lens as well I assume?

Here is a photo of the hotshoe there is not a mark on the lens or camera,
it landed on a chair and the flash broke off and it's only the second time I have used it,
