Spots

I've got a few stubborn spots on my sensor. Am I right in assuming that the positions on the sensor and the picture are a complete reversal. I.e Bottom left corner = top right.

Yes!

If your camera has the dust detection system (I think K-5 onward) then it shows it as if you were looking at the sensor. It does all the reversing for you.

But only if using the dust detection system; if looking at an actual image, then it is as Jimd says.

Very true. I meant to add use both for a comparison. See if the dust alert shows the same spots.

Cheers. The spots are on my K5 but don’t show up on the detection.
