There is a well-known camera repairer in Tennessee called Eric Hendrickson. He specialises in Spotmatics, I believe, but might well be able to advise you.

Here's the scenario. I bought a used pentax spotmeter about 3-4 months ago off Ebay. It came in near perfect condition with the leather case et all. No batteries but that was easily solved. So its working great and im metering like a pro then suddenly about a week and a half ago it completely stops working. Changed the batteries, still no response. The needle will not move from its position on the far right of the viewfinder. It remains on its small circle no matter what i do. I pressed the B battery check and still no response. The strangest part is that the light for low light readings still works... Does anyone have any clue what could possibly be the culprit? Or know a good repair service (if possible at all).
Thanks in advance.
