We spent around 8 hours today at Martin Mere near Ormskirk. Nature is a very challenging area of photography, and one that Sue and I are beginning to get into. Here's one of my favourite images from the day, shot with the K20D and SMC Pentax-DA 55-300mm.

Looks to be enjoying its bath John Long time since I've been to Martin Mere,they always had a good selection of waterfowl to photograph, and a nice place to get some decent Swan shots. If you are getting interested in wildlife, Formby is a nice place to visit for the Red Squirrels.
