A one off occasion and well captured. What an awesome experience! No.6 for me as it shows the plane airborne and low.

Thanks. It was a great day, certainly worth getting up at 5 am for it. To think I nearly didn't take any thing longer than the 17-70.
We headed to the Spitfire café (where else) in Biggin Hill for breakfast afterwards, and they made a huge fuss of Peter, even going out and buying an 80th birthday balloon for his chair!

On the Monday the flight was cancelled, but Don, the pilot said if we could be there for 8am the following day he could go then. We did get to see the planes in the hangars, in various states of repair. Only one shot of that from me I'm afraid - the mobile phone shots were much better.
6am Tuesday we set off from near Faversham, avoiding most of the rush hour.
I am not a plane photographer, and produced many duds, These are the best of the rest.
