Neil,
I am no expert however, while I like the colours and the blurred wheels my feelong would be that maybe these could be more blurred? Not sure if that is possible? Also maybe find a way of losing the red safety bar in front of the bike. In my ideal picture the bike would be blurred to show the movement but the rider sharp!!! I don't suppose that is possible. Like I said I am no expert.

I think the real issue with this shot is that you expect it to be a night time/evening shot and this isn't so that area of white above the cycles feels a bit odd.
Personally I would have cropped the top down a bit to lose the scrappy top edge but keep the clean curve below it.
Also I think really it either needs no riders or more riders.
Nice colours.

Tried more as well. But then the lines are not repeating each other any more. The edge brings some similarity (line) to the bottom as well.I'd have cropped rather more and probably only left the lower curve visible while you have rather cleverly cloned the offending bit away.

One more possibility might be consentrate to the upper half of pic - without riders at all. Just lines ! But this would bee another pic - too far from original.
BTW some levels job too...just a bit

I hope you dont mind but I tried it this way

I have cloned out the blue tags (like Aiki) cloned out the barrier and cropped a little tighter at the top as I found the top too busy and distracting and finally added some extra motion blur to the riders.
Is it any better?

hi guys thanks for the comments, have to agree Aiki I did not like the bit at the top and seemed to loose too much curve when I croped below it. Paul really like what you have done the larger crop looks better, and cloneing out the barrier looks great. will have to have another play with it and see what my limited skills in P.S can do.
Cheers
