Well I'm back from my local optician. Several hundred Euro poorer. Well I will be when I collect the glasses. Good job my health insurance will pay a chunk of the costs!

They are putting new lenses in my 12 year old granny glasses frames for reading, and I have bought a new pair for distance. First time I've needed distance glasses .

Not ready to go with bifocals just yet, but when I am they can be fitted into the new frames I have bought.
All Hoya glass.

I could have bought a K-x and with 18-55 an 50-200 for about the same price .

Yeah, but think how silly you would've looked, with all that kit strapped to your face as you walk around town.

They're my glasses ! ! !, and you can't even see the anti-glare coating.
